PROJECT BRIEF
Spiff Passe is a Bay Area-based streetwear brand that highlights the art and creativity of local artists. Their team approached me to collaborate on a jacket design, with one key request—to incorporate a dragon to align with their signature aesthetic.
PROCESS
The Spiff Passe team wanted to use a knitted material, so I sourced a similar jacket for reference. Inspired by its texture, I incorporated a floral design and their request for a dragon. To enhance the aesthetic, I drew inspiration from porcelain's colors and intricate patterns.
DEVELOPMENT
During the development process, I created a seamless pattern inspired by porcelain designs to be used throughout the jacket. For the back, I drew inspiration from traditional Asian art dragons, while the sleeves featured a distinct design of their own. Additionally, I designed a custom tag that subtly resembles the Carhartt logo from a distance.

FIRST PASS
This is the technical pack design sent to the manufacturer, featuring a silhouette inspired by the iconic Carhartt Detroit jacket.
FINAL PRODUCT
The final product became Spiff Passe's best-seller, with over 300 units sold. Due to its success, the team even requested a custom Spiff Passe colorway in black, pink, and white.
